Key Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy Development: Work closely with client organizations to develop and implement effective HR strategies that align with business goals.
  • Talent Acquisition & Retention: Support clients in the recruitment process by creating job descriptions, conducting interviews, and assisting in onboarding. Provide strategies for improving employee retention.
  • Employee Relations: Offer advice and solutions for resolving workplace conflicts and building a positive work culture.
  • Compliance: Ensure client organizations comply with local labor laws, health and safety regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Performance Management: Guide clients in establishing performance management systems, conducting appraisals, and setting clear goals for employees.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in HR consulting, with expertise in talent management, employee relations, and HR strategy.
  • In-depth knowledge of Canadian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build relationships at all organizational levels.
  • High level of organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously.
  • Proficient in HR software and tools (e.g., HRIS, performance management systems, etc.).

Experience

Working Hours

  • Expect to work approximately 35-40 hours per week, with the flexibility to set your own schedule.
  • Occasional overtime may be required depending on project deadlines and client needs.
