Responsibilities:
  • A Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of a wide range of goods including, but not limited to, materials, tools, machinery, and uniforms.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    FACILITY & SAFETY

    Ø Maintains standards of health, safety, hygiene and security in the work environment.

    Ø Maintains housekeeping of warehouse.

    Ø Ensures the workplace health and safety requirements are met, take responsibility for the security of the building and stock, and runs shift with safety and efficiency as priorities.

    PURCHASING

    Ø Ensures quality, delivery budget and environmental objectives are met.

    Ø Responds to field communication, locate vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order to determine product availability and terms of sales.

    Ø Administers on-line purchasing systems.

    Ø Prepares and process requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and equipment.

    TOOLS, FLEET & INVENTORY

    Ø Maintains records of goods ordered and received, log all rentals into the rental log and follow up with foreman on status.

    Ø Manages stock control, receipt, storage, retrieval and timely delivery of goods; shipment loading and transferring; document recording and data entry into system.

    Ø Issues inventory report, in/out status report, dead stock report, goods age report, and consumption report.

    Ø Returns all materials not required on a project or that were delivered incorrectly.

    Ø Responsible for tool inventory and control: § Tool transfers log in/out form, clean up, maintenance and repair of tools

    Ø Updates and maintains inventory tool list, delivery of tools to the jobsite.

    Ø Perform other duties as assigned

    ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND COMPETENCIES:

    Ø Excellent documentation and communication skills.

    Ø Strong interpersonal skills.

    Ø Ability to multi-task effectively.

    Ø Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented.

    Ø Ability to organize and prioritize your own work schedule and the work schedules of others on short-term basis.

    Ø Ability to work independently and in a team oriented environment.

    COMPUTER SOFTWARE KNOWLEDGE

    Ø Solid working knowledge of use of the Microsoft suite of applications (Word, Excel, etc.)

Qualifications:
  • EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:

    Ø Associates degree or equivalent experience.

    Ø Minimum 3 years of warehouse experience.

    Ø Minimum 2 years hands-on experience with HVAC and/or Refrigeration concepts.

    Ø Forklift operating experience/certification preferred.
