[Remote] Full Stack Engineer

Note The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Insight Global is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to support and enhance a physician-facing application used in clinical workflows. This role involves working on a feature team responsible for maintaining and expanding a product that delivers critical patient information to physicians during patient rounds, while also driving modernization and innovation in the application's architecture. Responsibilities Work on a feature team supporting ongoing development and enhancements Troubleshoot and resolve defects and performance issues Contribute to new feature development across the stack Partner with engineering team members to improve scalability, performance, and maintainability Support efforts to modernize and evolve the application, including cloud adoption Help influence a shift toward more innovative, forward-looking engineering practices Skills Senior-level experience in full stack development Strong backend expertise in Java and Spring Boot Experience building modern frontend applications with Angular Exposure to mobile development (iOS and/or Android) is highly valued Experience working in or migrating toward cloud environments (GCP preferred) Ability to work in an environment that is maturing in its modernization journey A mindset focused on innovation, improvement, and long-term scalability Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work across multiple layers of the stack Java (primary) Spring Boot (core framework) Spring Data / JPA Oracle database environment (existing constraint in architecture) Cloud experience is a key requirement.
