The VP of Credit Risk & Analytics will oversee the credit lifecycle, driving strategy, pricing, and portfolio performance to support sustainable growth and profitability. Responsibilities Driving portfolio performance, risk appetite, and policy direction Balancing competitiveness and profitability across segments Aligning credit strategy with Finance, Product, Sales, and Underwriting Ensuring analytics and data teams deliver business impact Owning IRR, cohort performance, roll rates, and funnel conversion metrics, ensuring alignment with company growth and profitability goals Defining and evolving credit policy, underwriting strategy, and pricing frameworks that optimize risk-adjusted returns Partnering across Finance, Product, Sales, and Operations to ensure consistent execution of credit strategy and influence business outcomes Skills Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred 10+ years of progressive experience in credit risk with direct ownership of portfolio performance 3+ years in a director-level or higher leadership role managing teams Proven track record of making credit and pricing decisions with measurable business impact Experience operating at an executive level with strong cross-functional influence Deep expertise in portfolio management, pricing strategy, and unit economics Strong understanding of underwriting processes, credit policy design, and segmentation strategies Ability to interpret and challenge analytics outputs without direct model development ownership Advanced proficiency in Excel; working knowledge of SQL and BI tools for data interpretation Familiarity with credit decisioning systems, data vendors, and fraud tools Experience leveraging data to inform strategy, stress testing, and scenario planning Strong experience in small business lending, alternative finance, or non-prime environments preferred Benefits Competitive Pay - We know your worth and we pay accordingly.
