[Remote] SAP BTP Engineer - Finance Extensions

The role involves designing, building, and deploying SAP BTP extensions to optimize financial processes and integrate systems at an enterprise scale. Responsibilities Design, code, and deploy side-by-side extensions on SAP BTP Create reusable services, APIs, and event-driven integrations extending S/4HANA Finance without modifying core systems Build Fiori/UI5 applications for finance users (period-end dashboards, reconciliation tools, exception workbenches) Build complex integration flows using SAP Integration Suite (CPI) between S/4HANA, Concur, Ariba, and external banking systems Automate finance workflows using SAP Build Process Automation for period-end closing, exception handling, and reconciliation Implement real-time data replication between S/4HANA and BTP using SAP Data Intelligence or CDS-based replication Manage BTP subaccounts, entitlements, and destinations across dev, test, and production environments Work directly with finance and technology teams translating business requirements into technical designs Enforce clean core principle architecting what belongs in S/4HANA versus what should be built on BTP Skills 8+ years hands-on development experience with SAP technologies 4+ years hands-on experience developing on SAP BTP Experience building Fiori/UI5 applications and modern web interfaces Solid understanding of S/4HANA Finance modules and processes Experience with SAP Build Process Automation and workflow automation Experience managing BTP subaccounts, destinations, and entitlements Strong REST API design and development skills Database experience with HANA Cloud or similar cloud databases Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills Hands-on developer mindset — writes code daily, not just architecture Company Overview Prospance is an information technology company that provides staffing and project implementation services.
