SUMMARY Working under direct supervision, the Seasonal Warehouse Worker ( based upon assigned area ) provides - BRC - manual and clerical support in sorting, processing and verifying merchandise. Packer - manual and clerical support in supporting, processing and verifying merchandise. Order Filler - manual support in picking merchandise under engineered standards. Asset Protection - facilities safety and profitability by executing company programs and investigating any suspicious team member activities or behavior in the facility. Some non-routine activities will require a supervisor's advanced approval. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES BRC / Packer - Prepares merchandise for distribution, including checks, inspects, and logs data into the appropriate inventory systems to reflect the quantity and condition of merchandise received or distributed. Takes necessary steps to prepare merchandise for inventory and distribution. Inspects merchandise visually to determine disposition, as assigned. Enters/logs appropriate data into on-line systems, as required. Moves merchandise from one location to another either manually or mechanically. Perform related duties as assigned Order Filler - Picks "A" merchandise for distribution. Moves merchandise manually from one location to another. Processes returned merchandise by ticketing, bagging and binning. Perform related duties as assigned Asset Protection - Conducts surveillance - You have a curious mind and can blend in well with other shoppers. You observe customers and contractors in the store and look for any activities or behavior that may be associated with theft, fraud, or impending violence. Supports shrinkage awareness programs - You know how important it is for the team to understand current shrinkage issues. You let team members know what's going on and what they need to do to create the right facility experience. Accountable for record maintenance - You oversee a lot of detail. The company and law enforcement agencies are depending on you to have complete and accurate reports to assist any investigation that may need to occur for the facility. You are always on top of the documentation to ensure everything is complete for the team. Responds to emergencies - You may be required to participate in bodily fluid clean-up; may be required to render CPR or other first responder duties. May be required to operate a fire extinguisher. Maintain facility truck entrance- You will ensure the staffing and execution of processes at the facility truck gate on your assigned shift. Utilizes the CCTV System - You will use the CCTV system to identify threats related to theft, shrinkage and violence, Team Member and visitor safety and operational compliance. Entrance and exit points- You will maintain all entry and exit points on the property on your assigned shift. Perform related duties as assigned BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE) BRC / Packer / Order Filler - No experience is required ; At least six months related experience preferred High school diploma or GED required ; College degree from an accredited institution preferred Asset Protection - High School diploma or equivalent years of work experience required ; college degree from related field from an accredited program preferred At least 6 months of experience in Asset Protection or Auditing required ; 1 year of experience preferred MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES BRC / Packer / Order Filler - Expressed by level of knowledge, skill or ability: Requires ability to understand and follow general and/or written instructions. Involves use of elementary arithmetic. Familiarity with use of contemporary merchandise processing equipment (e.g. handheld scanners). Ability to learn computer processing systems. Ability to work efficiently. Ability to determine which prescribed steps to take to process problem cartons Ability to lift 30 pounds frequently and up to 75 pounds occasionally Asset Protection - Expressed by level of knowledge, skill or ability: AP knowledge - Learn and stay up to date on Company policy and procedures relating to loss prevention and relevant local legal requirements Balanced Temperament - Maintains composure and handle high stress situations in a calm/effective manner.
