Senior Key Account Manager

AMOREPACIFIC MALAYSIA is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Senior Key Account Manager to lead and grow strategic retail partnerships across multi brand store (MBS) channels while driving sustainable business growth, brand visibility, and commercial excellence.

Position Summary The Senior Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing key retail accounts and developing strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and strengthen market presence. This role plays a critical part in driving sell-in, sell-through, profitability, and execution excellence across assigned channels.

The ideal candidate is commercially savvy, highly analytical, relationship-oriented, and passionate about the beauty industry.

[Your Key Tasks] You will play an important role, such as:

1. Strategic Account Management

  • Manage and develop strong partnerships with key retail accounts (Sephora, Watsons, Guardian etc) including specialty beauty retailers.
  • Lead annual business planning and align joint business objectives with retail partners.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, promotional plans, visibility opportunities, and product assortments.
  • Identify growth opportunities to maximize sales, market share, and profitability.
2. Sales & Commercial Performance
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor and drive sell-in and sell-through performance across channels.
  • Analyze sales trends, market intelligence, and competitive activities to recommend actionable strategies.
  • Manage forecasting and inventory planning to optimize stock health.
3. Trade Marketing & Execution
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to execute impactful launches, promotions, and campaigns.
  • Ensure strong in-store visibility, merchandising excellence, and brand presence.
  • Partner with retailers to drive omnichannel initiatives and customer engagement activities.
4. Business Analysis & Reporting
  • Prepare regular business reviews, performance reports, and strategic presentations.
  • Monitor KPIs including sales growth, productivity, stock levels, and ROI.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve business performance.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Retail Operations, and Brand/Marketing teams to ensure smooth execution of commercial plans.
  • Support alignment between headquarters, distributors, and retail partners.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in Key Account Management, Sales, or Commercial roles within beauty, FMCG, or retail industries.
  • Strong understanding of beauty retail landscape in Malaysia.
  • Proven experience managing major retail accounts (Eg. Watsons, Guardian, Sephora etc)
  • and achieving sales growth.
  • Prior experience leading and managing a team, with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate team members to achieve business objectives.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Self-motivated, agile, and results-oriented.
