[Remote] Director, Regional Marketing Lead (East Region)

They are seeking a Regional Marketing Lead to support the commercialization and medical engagement strategy for darovasertib in metastatic Uveal Melanoma, working closely with thought leaders and cross-functional teams to enhance scientific engagement and launch readiness. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key academic and community thought leaders within assigned geography Identify emerging thought leaders and evolving treatment landscape trends Support ongoing engagement with KOLs, investigators, and key external stakeholders relevant to darovasertib and future pipeline assets Gather, synthesize, and communicate actionable marketplace insights to cross-functional stakeholders Identify opportunities to strengthen IDEAYA's presence within the melanoma and ocular oncology ecosystem Partner with Commercial Strategy & Marketing to support launch planning and execution activities Develop and execute regional strategic plans aligned to launch objectives and the overall Uveal Melanoma commercialization strategy Provide regional insights to inform segmentation, targeting, messaging, and account planning Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support launch readiness initiatives Support speaker identification, onboarding, and training initiatives Help execute peer-to-peer education programs and advisory boards Manage budget, and vendors to ensure high-quality, efficient execution and fiscal discipline Support development and execution of regional marketing programs and educational campaigns Support congress planning and onsite engagement activities (e.g., ASCO, ESMO, major regional meetings) Coordinate stakeholder interactions and insight capture during congresses and key events Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Value & Access, Training, Sales, and Commercial Operations Ensure compliant and coordinated engagement aligned with company strategy and regulatory requirements Contribute to development of field insights processes and stakeholder engagement best practices Significant Air Travel within the U.S. a minimum of 50% (10 days per month or 6 weeks per quarter) Skills Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred 8+ years of biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience with oncology focus preferred Experience in one or more of the following Brand marketing, Thought leader engagement, Field strategy / Sales, Commercial launch planning, Market development Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with oncology thought leaders Demonstrated excellence in oncology commercialization, launch execution, and business planning Excellent communication, collaboration, and strategic thinking skills Ability to travel extensively within assigned region and to major congresses Significant Air Travel within the U.S. a minimum of 50% (10 days per month or 6 weeks per quarter) KOL engagement experience in oncology and especially rare oncology is preferred New oncology product launch experience is preferred Benefits Merit-based salary increases Company discretionary short-term incentive plan participation Company discretionary stock option awards (based on board approval) Medical/dental/vision coverage (100% company paid for employees and 90% company paid for dependents) 401k ESPP Wellness programs Work-from-home flexibility Reasonable accommodations for medical or religious reasons Company Overview IDEAYA Biosciences is an oncology-focused biotechnology company that develops therapeutics for patients with genetically-defined cancers.
