Responsibilities Researches, evaluates, and analyzes the use and performance of financial software and related operational strategies, business processes and procedures. Makes recommendations to improve responsiveness, accuracy, usability, and reliability of financial, budgetary, and accounting operations, transactions, and reporting Participates in new software procurement including requirement gathering, initial studies, creation of functional and technical specification and evaluation of vendor interviews and responses Combines financial analysis, reporting, and business systems analysis to support solutions for budget, finance, and administration areas, as well as management reporting in general Prepares and reviews varied financial and operating reports and analyses in multiple software systems for supervisors, internal organizational areas, and external parties as needed.
