The IT Product Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering technology solutions that align with the company's business objectives, collaborating with stakeholders to define, plan, and execute IT projects that drive innovation and support growth. Responsibilities Product Strategy Develop and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with Purple Mattress's overall goals and objectives Requirements Gathering Collaborate with stakeholders, including business leaders and end-users, to gather and prioritize technology requirements Product Roadmap Create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the delivery of IT solutions and features over time Project Management Lead cross-functional teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery Vendor Management Evaluate and manage relationships with technology vendors, ensuring that third-party solutions align with Purple Mattress's needs and standards Risk Management Identify and mitigate risks associated with IT projects, providing solutions and contingency plans as needed Quality Assurance Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of technology solutions User Experience Advocate for a seamless and user-friendly experience for both internal and external users, gathering feedback and making improvements Change Management Manage change associated with technology implementations, ensuring successful adoption and minimal disruption Documentation Maintain comprehensive documentation, including product requirements, user stories, and technical specifications Skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field Proven experience (5+ years) in IT product management, with a track record of successfully delivering technology solutions Strong project management skills and familiarity with project management tools and methodologies Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration among cross-functional teams Knowledge of software development and IT infrastructure best practices Ability to analyze and translate complex technical concepts into understandable business terms Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, ITIL, CSPO) is a plus Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies is advantageous Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) Match Flexible PTO Earn a Mattress Purple Swag Amazing Purple Products Company Overview Purple is a Utah-based mattress company that also produces pillows, seat cushion, and platform bases.
