[Remote] Senior Director, Business Development

As Senior Director, Business Development, you will be responsible for generating new business by pitching work to new clients, identifying rising business opportunities, and building long-term relationships with prospects. Responsibilities Lead outreach to new clients in priority organizations with the purpose of setting up initial meetings and driving new RFPs Work with head of department to assess, analyze and target potential new business opportunities Work with head of department and account leaders to develop account strategy and participate in monthly/ quarterly accountability sessions Partner with account leads to develop tactical communication plans aligned to account-level goals on a rolling basis Develop and maintain contacts in the industry associations, key decision makers and influencers across pharmaceutical industry Arrange and lead meetings with prospects and ensure appropriate research support for these conversations Provide coaching to account leaders and directors on client relationship development, prospecting and other aspects of BD Leverage company CRM system to track meetings, calls and email outreach to prospects Work with BD Analyst and administrative staff to ensure careful upkeep of client databases and outreach activities Where possible, support proposal and pitch deck development Represent BioVid in business development capacity at select industry conferences as needed Serve as interim account leads for new and smaller accounts during relationship-building phase Skills College degree or work experience equivalent 7+ years of Business Development experience, preferably selling custom market research and consulting Experience with team-based selling, collaborating with subject matter experts Excellent time management and personal organization skills Expertise in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe PDF Pro, as well as experience in database applications, CRMs (such as salesforce.com), collaboration sites, and portals Pharmaceutical industry experience Good communication and writing skills Strong analytical skills Benefits Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Parental leave Pet insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Disability, life, hospital, accident, and critical illness insurance Company Overview BioVid Corporation is a world-class life science consultancy, specializing in applying cutting-edge behavioral science and AI to commercial and market access strategy.
