Position Overview careerzynith is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Technical Writer to join our Cloud Information Experience (iX) team. In this role, you will plan, create, and maintain instructional and reference content for our distributed cloud product suite, including software solutions, hardware infrastructure, and data center offerings. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, content strategists, and fellow writers across the globe to deliver documentation that meets the highest standards of technical accuracy, clarity, and usability. This is a remote-friendly, hybrid-eligible opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $32–$40, commensurate with experience. Whether you are based in Grand Prairie, Texas, or anywhere else in the United States, you will have the flexibility to work in a way that supports your best output while remaining deeply connected to a global team. Key Responsibilities Author Comprehensive Technical Documentation Plan, draft, and maintain high-quality documentation for developers and cloud architects building solutions on the careerzynith Distributed Cloud platform, including API references, architecture guides, deployment tutorials, and operational runbooks. Produce and Curate Customer-Facing Content Create, organize, and continuously improve content across multiple formats—including formal documentation, UI strings, sample code, instructional videos, and knowledge base articles—ensuring consistency and discoverability. Edit, Clarify, and Proofread Review and refine content authored by engineers, product managers, and other contributors; provide constructive feedback and coach non-writers on documentation best practices and effective technical communication. Collaborate Across Global Teams Partner with engineers, product teams, content strategists, UX designers, and fellow technical writers in a distributed, multicultural environment to deliver cohesive documentation experiences. Define and Implement Customer-Centric Solutions Use customer feedback, analytics, and usability insights as your North Star to identify documentation gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain Information Architecture Contribute to the structural design of documentation systems, taxonomy, and content organization, particularly around hardware, physical infrastructure, and customer-built cloud environments. Champion Quality and Standards Uphold careerzynith’s editorial standards, style guides, and content governance frameworks while sharing best practices across the broader Cloud iX writing community. Adapt to a Fast-Paced Environment Manage multiple concurrent priorities with shifting deadlines, balancing short-term deliverables with long-term content strategy goals. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, Computer Science, English, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Demonstrated experience in technical writing, preferably for software, cloud, or infrastructure products. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong portfolio showcasing the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and designers. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in Technical Writing, Engineering, Communications, or a science-related discipline. One or more years of professional technical writing experience in a technology company or similar environment. Hands-on experience with documentation tools and formats such as HTML, Markdown, XML, or DITA. Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments, command-line interfaces, and version control systems (e.g., Git). Experience writing for cloud platforms, distributed systems, networking, or infrastructure products. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a dynamic, continuously evolving environment.
